Springtree is a small gated subdivision of 85 homes located off of US 1 in Stuart, Florida. Construction on our community began in 2000 by Engle Homes with the last house completed in 2003. Some of the original homeowners are still here and our neighbors.

Springtree is serviced by a single road from US 1 with access to the neighborhood though a decorative security gate. Using a remote control, entering an access code, or looking up the resident in the directory at the gate for remote opening gains access to the neighborhood. Springtree is set up in the general shape of the letter "P" with most houses on the upper circle of the "P". A central pond with a lighted fountain forms the center piece of the neighborhood with several nature preserves and a playground in the peripheral areas.

What is the Springtree POA?

The Springtree Property Owners Association (POA) is the governing board for the community that follows, enforces, and funnels debate and changes to the POA Bylaws and Covenants.

The original Bylaws and Covenants were established by the first Board of Directors consisting of homeowners and a representative from the Glen Management Company. The Bylaws and Covenants have since been augmented and changed by the Board of Directors based on community input and formal ratification based on the governing rules in the charter of the Springtree Property Owners Association.

The Board of Directors are elected annually, with nominations submitted in advance or at the annual election meeting. Voting for 5 seats on the Board takes place via ballots filled out and turned in at the meeting or by submission of a Proxy Vote prior to the start of the election meeting. The 5 members elected serve for 1 year with the positions on the board voted by board members (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Director).
